MR. KO tells KAI to think of activities that can include HON. KAI suggests inviting him to his upcoming fund raising ball. HON is met with nasty remarks from KAI, who also spills champagne on his suit, at the ball. PING hears that the prince is suing MR. KO for bribing officials. MR. KO writes both KAI and HON a check for $50,000,000. After checking with his father’s legal adviser, KAI worries that his father’s assets will be ordered to be frozen. MR. KO receives a call from the bank informing him KAI has altered his check. He gives his son a good telling-off afterwards but he does not feel sorry at all. MR. KO is so furious that he kicks him out of the room. KEI consoles MR. KO by saying that money is the most important thing in life. He believes she does not know human nature well enough, adding that HON has already cashed the check.
