KWAN announces at a meeting that he is nominating three pieces of articles for the “Worldwide Chinese Newspapers Award for Outstanding Reporter”. He has chosen an article from HO-PING and KEI so far. He encourages other staff members to work harder for the remaining nomination. MR. KO did very well at a golf competition in Zhuhai, China. He tells KWAN and CHU to go up to cover his good performance. KAR CHING-KUNG’s son calls KWAN from Macau, informing him that his father is on his deathbed, and that his father would like to talk to KWAN before he dies. KWAN’s travel document has been stolen. He tells CHU to pretend to be him. KUNG tells CHU his long kept secret. Using KWAN’s name, CHU writes a story on KUNG. MR. KO is pleased with sales of the paper. KWAN wonders why CHU did not put down his own name in the article.
